Smog Test
So I went in for a smog check for my 07' 335i and I did not pass smog. I passed the visual inspection, emissions test, but not the functional check. It says the reason why: "This vehicle did not pass the OBD System Check because its OBD system was not ready to test". I asked the technician and he said I'm suppose to drive it a certain amount of miles for it to be ready. Can someone help me and explain what this means and how I can pass? Thanks.

See your other thread for my full response but basically after switching maps the 02 sensors have to be rechecked by the computer. This is done but going through several heat cycles and 80-100 miles of driving. Make sure Autoclear is set to off as that will keep clearing the readiness test causing your issue.
