Pacific BMW

Anyone else had problems with this company? I have placed two orders with them and while the prices are great, the customer service has been less than acceptable.

1st go around, ordered three items and a few weeks later only two showed up. Took several months to get a refund on the item that was not shipped (out of stock) yet they still list it on the website. Had to call them with my credit card info in order to get the money back which was a first.

2nd time. Ordered the CF lips 10 days ago, no order tracking number so I emailed them. Two days later, no response and no tracking number and I sent almost $500 that way for the lips.

I've been trying to order the chrome grill from them but it is almost impossible to get a hold of their Internet mail order department. I left a voicemail but no call back - everytime I call I get the voicemail again! I'm thinking of going down there in person and ordering it since their price is still unbeatable, but yea the service sucks!

I'm confused. You're in South Carolina? Are you talking about Pacific BMW on the West Coast?

Yes, I am in SC. I called my dealership but they could not match the price on the CF lips at $231 each. I would have preferred to buy them elsewhere but Pacific had the best price.

Still no email from them, no tracking number but at least they charged my credit card $490!!!!!!!!!!!!

Probably right, circle BMW was only $18 more. Just called and of course everyone is in a meeting or can't talk to me. Finally found out that the part is supposed to be in Monday b/c it was special order.

WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST TELL ME THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!

I ordered carpet floor mat for my 330i, they sent me the M3 one, good or bad, guys/gals? See the pics.

My friend says good. I like it because it is M3 after all, but isn't it kind of bizarre to have a M3 mat on a 330i?

I also ordered wheel locks along with the mat. I remember I ordered with plastic caps ($6-7 more), but I couldn't find anything that is plastic in the box!

Pacific BMW price is but service is definitely

The mats are nice - only problem is you don't drive an M3. I think you should send those back to them and tell them that they gave you the wrong kind.

I understand your frustration. Their service is horrible! I called yesterday to try and find out about the chrome grills and the guy told me to leave my number. I did - no one called back. I called last week and they said they've been backed up and so they are trying to catch up - whatever....I am NOT ordering the chrome grills from them - I don't care if they are cheap, they'll probably send me the wrong ones anyway.

Try calling their main number and then tell them you want to speak to the manager. If you let them know you have been trying to call many times already and that you're frustrated, then they will respond. I hope everything works out for you.

Just called again as another week has passed with no luck. Was told by the clerk that internet sales is taking emails only today. You might say I lost it with him for a moment and after I told him to transfer the call and put a human being on the phone three times I got in touch with someone.

They could not find my order for 10 minutes and told me the same line as I got last week. Still on special order...will be in next week!

Next time I am ordering from Circle BMW.

I had trouble with them too.
But after making few phone calls, working my way through it, I figured out how stuff works there.

They have website running 24x7 with no in-house tech support. They have internet orders shipped only on Tuesday (may be sometimes Saturday). That is the only time someone will look at your order, no matter u ordered six days ago & your credit-card got charged for full amount.
So if you have problems with your internet order then... u getting helped is close to NULL.

They usually stock general parts & will be shipped to you once a week, but their inventory is not co-ordinated with what they sell online, so if u placed an order for specific part & its not in inventory then the only time they replenish it is when they start packing your order on tuesday morning !!!
Good thing is that they ship available parts ASAP, & bear double shipping cost of breaking your order.

And if u really want urself heard, then call Parts Manager , his direct phone number is listed online.

Their internet prices are unbeatable. But only if you have patience. Or call them to get those prices on phone & work your order from there.

After the conversation today, I get home and there is an email from Pacific BMW with a UPS tracking number with an address that is AFU! You have got to be kidding me, they told me the product was not in yet then it ships hours after I call but to an address that is drastically different from what I input on their website. Pacific BMW gets an F- across the board. I told them this on the phone, they are losing customers rapidly!

The part was definitely shipped yesterday after I called but as I said they sent it to VA (22907) instead of SC 29907.

This makes me believe that the part was there and they just forgot or neglected to send it before. The agent on the phone yesterday told me it was not in stock, no more truth in customer service I suppose.

For those of you who have had success in ordering from Pacific BMW is it better if I go down there in person? I want the chrome grills but I can't seem to find them anywhere else for that price.
