Got me some new shoes

I'm questioning my purchase. Need advise

Went from 17x8 et34 on 225/45/17

To 18x9 et40 on 235/40/18

I have a 20mm spacer in rear and 15mm up front which I need to swap out for 10/12mm

It's not the square tire on rim look but I can't go fatter width tire on my XI.

Difference in diameter is 1.69%

I'm happy with result but questioning myself which leads to uncertainty and concern

Any advise would be appreciated

You may consider returning these wheels and get the right offset.

They look good otherwise. You need to loose about an inch of riding height for the good look.

What offset would you suggest?
An 8.5 width rim with ET 35 is best to my knowledge for XI but I had to improvise

As far as lowering is concerned. Not happening. She sits low enough. So the "good look" is out
