Help removing nuts on tire!! Noob here :(
I have the 4way wrench and wouldn't fit.. I looked for a special lock to be able to remove the wheels nuts but the car didn't come with it.. Do I need to buy a special wrench for it? I was thinking about calling the dealership tomorrow to ask them.... I'm trying to change my angel lights and this is the only way we can replace them

All you need is one for the wheel locks, other than that just find the right sized socket and adapter to fit your tire iron.

any 17mm socket should fit in there.

^ this.
did you buy your car used? are the stock wheels and lug bolts on there? sometimes those 4-way tire irons dont grip perfectly and can strip the lug head... especially if the lugs are over-torqued.

If you can't figure out how to take your wheels off you probably shouldn't be fiddling around with your headlights.

Okay, this is like a train wreck, I just gotta ask....
So when you said you got the correct tool, what did you mean? Did the car have wheel locks on it and you didn't have the wheel lock key that mates with the wheel lock bolt? Or did you just not have a 17MM socket wrench? |
