E90post.com M3 Race Night (online)

This Monday night, 10/15, I'm going to test the waters to see who would like to join a regular weekly online race night with the new M3 Challenge online racing game. Let me know if you're interested and if we have enough folks from the forum, I'll be able to password the game to keep out the riff raff. Look for the room called E90post.com Race Night.

The room should be open from at least 8PM Eastern, if not earlier.

Tonight is just a test to see what kind of participation can be expected and at any time during the week that I'm going to be racing online, I will host a room called E90post.com Race Night. Ultimately, I would like to see the regularly scheduled "official" race night on Sunday nights since that's when my wife watches Desperate Housewives....

I joined last night as Louie Spamilton. It was pretty good. Usually those M3 Challenge servers are full of crashers who just want to ruin a good race. I had a good battle with GTR2 Champion for a little while...then he drove off into the distance for the win.

I can do Sunday nights...

Until I get a handle on how many will be participating, I'm keeping the room public. In the event things get out of hand and too many wahoos enter the race and just cause havoc, I'll password the room. The password will always be the current date in the European format...ddmmyy. So for instance, if I have to password the room tonight, the password will be 151007.

No sign up is needed at this point...just come on in when ever you can make it. I'll probably have the room set up from no later than 8PM till at least 11PM.

Monday night's are all mine since it's my wife's mahjong night.

Sunday night, it's Desperate Housewives so that's why I was able to host a room last night.

Yup, they cut off a part of the track to shorten the distance. It eliminates a long upward sloping gentle chicane that I happen to like. The Sprint layout cuts before the Valvoline-Kurve and enters at the Conti-Spange.
