sup guys im pretty new to the forum but i've been browsing on here for a couple of months now and im finally getting my car on tuesday but i have a choice a sapphire metallic black on black or a jet black on saddle brown i have been really feeling the saddle brown interior but i haven't seen it in person and does it clash with the headliner and does anyone have this color combo please tell me if you love it or hate it now I don't want to be stuck with it its a hard choice but i have to make it also I'm getting stuck with an automatic too on top of it not by choice but my dealer told me that there are non in california right now and i've been waiting for months,I currently drive a nissan 350z 6spd and kinda hate having to go to an automatic but I want to hear some opinions on people that have an auto 335i and do they like the paddle shifters or are they wack thanks guys for the input..

I thought you pretty much had to preorder if you wanted the 2008. Your dealer is telling you he has the 2008 in stock in either black/black or black/saddle? Or is he talking about a 2007 left in stock?

I think indeed it is a 2008 i think they stopped production a long time ago on the 2007's

personally, i would go with the metallic black on black, but I am biased. I think that the headliner would clash a little with the brown. I know a guy with a vert that has saddle brown and the black headliner in those matches the saddle better.
And, if you want a 6mt and you are settling for an auto because you are impatient, you get the noob of the year award
Do you really want to regret anything about this purchase? I don't think so. You will want to kill yourself later for be impatient

just order the car exactly how you want it. Best bang for your buck. Nobody else gets to drive it, it has everything you want, nothing you don't, and you can change your order as you find out more about what you like and don't like on this forum.

I suspect that if you do not have to order and wait like many of us for the 2008, what you're getting is a 2007 that's left on the lot or a trade from another dealership. But I could be wrong.

No. From what others are reporting, you might be able to get a better deal on the 2007 since the 2008 are out already, if it is the 2007 that he has to offer.

BTW, my vote would be for the saddle.

dropping this much coin, order EXACTLY what you want then gives you 3 months or so to get your mod list all squared away . .knowing you'll get YOUR vehicle. Do not settle for an auto if you want a manual. Also, a good dealer should be able to search a lot more inventory as well. Mine searched all the way to Virginia (from NJ) and when nothing came up that met my minimum criteria, I went the custom order route. My car should arrive this week, and it seems like I ordered it yesterday.
