P1749 Secondary Pressure Solenoid Communication Error
Hello, I recently changed the transmission fluid on my car because of rough shift about 1000 miles ago and everything works well except when i'm in manual mode and shift from 4th to 5th it lets the RPM's build then bangs into gear. When just left in DS and D it is silky smooth and has no problems except for today i used manual mode and shift from 4th to 5th at about 5,000 RPM and the transmission went into limp mode. When i got home i checked the error and it came up to be P1749. So I cleared the code and took it for a drive again and it was absolutely fine and back to normal. My question is what can i do to fix this?? I haven't done a filter replacement yet, just drain and fills for the duration of ownership and the mechtronic sleeve is not leaking. The transmission is a ZF 6HP19.
