Ditching RFT's but Keeping Stock 162's
I was thinking about removing the RFT and just saving them. I want to purchase non-RFT's and was wondering if someone could help me with picking a new tire. I don't have any plans to track the car, want it to be quiet, and to be less harsh than the stock RFT's. Any suggestions would be helpful. Also, suggestions on where I should go to purchase the new tires. I live in the Walnut/Rowland Heights area but am willing to drive to OC. Thanks in advance.

Tirerack
Check them out. I bought Kumho Ecsta ASX (all weather high performance - W rated) in size 225/40/18 all-around. Mounted tires on stock 162s; I have ZSP. Run-flats are in garage until summer rolls around again. Check out the reviews on Tirerack. Much! quieter/better riding tires. I lost a little traction in the dry (as expected), but gained so much more in the wet/cold than stock runflats.
