A rear pan?
Everyone prefers a different exhaust since exhaust sounds are so subjective. What I might think sounds great, you might hate or vice-versa. With that said I love the way that the eisenmann meisterchaft with SR pipes sounds.

Staying stock here. Too many stories of people being unhappy with a wide range of after market cat-backs. I'm just going to sit back for a year or so (w/ v2 procede mod to keep me happy) and watch tons of new products come out very soon, and put mod money toward the principal on my remaining loan balance.

Feel free to contact me for pricing or availability on Eisenmann or Bastuck exhausts. I think it's safe to say that they are currently the most popular.

The Bastuck exhaust is completely void of "horror-stories" so far as I know.
Thats another option that has proven a wise decision, at least in my case.

your questions isn't very clear.. are you asking if the preferred upgrade is just to replace the mufflers?
for most hp and tq with forced induction engines you want as little backpressure as possible (no exhaust is the ultimate).. however, you obviously don't want that annoying loud noise all the time.. therefore, expert exhaust makers -at the best of their abilities- design exhausts that flow better than stock and give enjoyable sounds..
