If compared to a Mohs Scale, I'd be an 11.

95% of the time very easily to be honest.

Rag a 300BHP car about a lot and you're going to look like an idiot. There is a time and place for everything.

Rarely need to rev to red line through gears unless trying to keep up with something seriously quick etc.

I generally drive for economy 90% of the time. But I do like to go wot in gear, no point having a quick car otherwise..

Have done a track day and been to Santa pod, not sure I'd do the drag strip again - too much stress on the drivetrain!

Like I'm driving Miss Daisy tbh. Rarely go through the rev range and if I do it's only when the engine is warmed up. Although, there's rarely the opportunity to drive any differently with traffic.

Looking at 335s and M3s (still) but think they'd be wasted on me lol.

but when it's sunny, quiet motorway, no one around....revving the shit out of that n54 is an experience!...

Considering now days a simple report from any untrained member of the public you can get up to 6 points and a 1k fine I just dont bother. If a member of the public deems your driving unacceptable they can report you and you get stung even if it was only thier opinion. I found this out recently. I have a pe exhaust, downpipes and filters. It makes noise, doesnt mean im going fast but the ticket office and corrupt police force dont take that into considerayion when they listen to someone that has no specialty in traffic offences.

I say sell up the fast cars. Buy a Caterham and only race track.

I drive like a granny when I have my little girl in the car but when I am alone I tend to give the car a bit of stick.

The novelty for driving quick in my car has worn off as I drive cars with 600bhp+ for my job so ragging the 330i to an inch of its life doesn't feel quick.

Pretty easy most of the time as the engine is only warm by the time I get to the town. If I am first at the lights on a dual carriageway and the engine is warm I'm going to the red line.

On the motorway it's the same as any other car, you can't really have much fun unless you want to lose your license.

Not particularly hard. Occasionally boot it off of a round a bout or traffic lights, but that's about it. Usually among the fastest car on the motorway, but that only needs to be 75 - 80 up here. Apart from that, I'm always looking for 500 miles from a tank of diesel, so it is a relatively average sort of drive, while still making reasonable progress (i.e. never below the speed limit).

I tend to drive pretty hard when the engine is warm and I'm on my own. Which is not that often recently. I try not to rag it in 1st but 2nd and 3rd are good with the DTC button pushed once!
