Single Turbo 18 Psi HPPF limit

So it seems that I have discovered the limits of a single turbo setup with an e50 mix. This is at 18 PSI as you can see the HPFP takes a crap up top. Next step is to lower the e85 mix and see if that helps out at all. Any other suggestions are welcome. But be advised I am trying to avoid running meth at this point.

I thought Shiv got 600+hp on that chicks car on e85. Which i imagine is around 22-23psi. Sounds like you need to up your fuel scaler and adjust OL fueling

I was going to say I think he could go further. Is there a limitation on how much to add?

Fuel trims are maxed out but I don't think a simple fuel scalar adjustment will resolve the issue because the HPPFP is tanking. On pump gas STs typically hit a wall at around the 570whp mark(give or take) and running e50 is only going to exacerbate the issue. I agree whole heartedly that methanol isn't a solution for fuel system limitations.

At this point your only real option is the Vargas HPFP upgrade and that has proven itself to work on other single turbo cars.

I run 25ish psi. Look at the cobb e-reference it has the scaler per content. I believe the max is 1.4 or 1.45. Is there a OL fueling option on the JB like the procede has? I know thats the biggest difference. Try porting your fuel rail too. Im pretty sure at 740whp (Captoninsano) your using more fuel than 18psi with e50. So it's definitely not the pump that's your limit. Its what the dme is seeing that's limiting you. I know my trims are usually no more than 10%

Ok I will adjust the fuel scalar and lower the e85 mix to see what happens. Will bump it up to 1.20. Maybe lean out my AFR's up top as well.

+1

i can use E50 even at 640+ whp...

You are right, the vargas HPFP/rail upgrade is the only viable option as of now to approach 650ish with NO METH
