since it's Hanamm, i'm sure it's not gonna be cheap. and if the gain is only 37hp, you might as well just get the procede for probably half the price.

HP per $$ is not the only important thing. Why is it that the big tumers (Hamann, Alpina, Hartge and Dinan) settle for more modest hp gains than Xede and Haltech? Why do the big tuners opt for ECU reflash? Let's throw a little IQ and logic into this discussion. Maybe heat, max safe boost, tranny tolerance are important.

maybe if they leave a little on the table with the initial ECU tune it allows them to turn the tune up for their exhaust, intake, etc.. and make those gains look more impressive then they really are and ultimately sell more products. WHile discrediting other tuners with the "it's not safe" approach. I mean let's face with the gains you get from a Procede alone I've decided I pretty much don't need an exhaust. However, if I only picked up 30 HP with a tune but, was told I could gain 60 if I ran their tune and exhaust I might be more inclined to buy the exhaust too. |

It would be a good choice to use it in combination with Procede

To use what with Procede? The Hamann ECU reflash?
No it wouldn't be a good idea. Depending how the Procede goes about altering the inputs/ outputs you could stack up the offsets with the Procede with the changes already made in the ECU and end up with a blown motor. |

Note that the speed limiter is removed. And look at the results for the diesels! Probably a typo on the vmax for 335 (they state 265, same as 330, less than 272 for 335d, so I'm betting it's 275 kph).
