Dome lights

Having recently had the new 1 series for the weekend, I preferred the white tiny dome lights that stay on at night (not the map reading light). It replaces the orange/red ones. I've had a brief look but has anyone replaced them, if so what size bulb and how difficult is it?

Are you talking about the orange mood ambient lighting?

I have seen people change them... But not the colour or the bulb.

I saw someone remove the panel they are installed.
They then drilled out the existing little leds... and installed more powerful leds which lit the centre console up a little better.

On the F-series you can change the colour from "Classic" (orange) to "Sport" white. Just different coloured LEDs built into the same housing.
