Whos a NY Montego owner?

I will be getting my Montego 335i coupe in the first week of November and I cant wait. I live in Queens and haven't seen that many Montego 335s around (THANK GOD!) just curious who else has my car and if you have tint what percent did you get?

im out in suffolk LI, so you wont see me too much im sure. I plan to get tinting done, but im not sure what % im gonna go with. my last ride was a Nogaro blue 2000 S4 with 15% tint. loved the look and only really got bothered once or twice for it in almost 5 years.

It was really dark though and at night in poorly lit areas, you can really not see ur blind spots too well. Im gonna end up going that dark again any way.

from what i hear Lorenzo's tint in the Bronx is the place to go. I just havent made my way there yet.

here is a few pics of the old ride. its kinda close to montego, but its still off.

Live in Brooklyn with a E93 Montego and let me tell you its hot..The color displays sooo many different shades under different lighting...At night the Montego pops out and the paint looks wet...Daytime it looks awesome from the reflection of the sun to make it look like a deep blue...Awesome color...added some pics just to let you think about your upcoming car!

Oh yeah i went with 35% tints all around...( obviously no front windshield ) and its perfect...Not too dark at night and just dark enough in the daytime for privacy...Cops probably won't bust chops either if you go 35%...If you go 20% or more, you asking for trouble..

I'm in Queens also but I have Monaco Blue, but got the best tint place in town BK with no Dot Matrix spots!! one of the only few people I've seen without the problem and much cheaper than most places I've heard.

Anyway congrats on the car and don't drive too fast, this car sees 120mph way too easily, trust me I've trying very hard for the year I've had the car, lol

it was an S4....2.7L V6 Biturbo. that car was a beast and so hard to get rid of. I really didnt want to let go.
had it chipped with an intake, 3" down pipes into a 2.75" trudual exhaust. my wife heard me getting off the LIE almost a mile away every day. that thing was so dam fast. there were some other goodies in there too. I traded it in with all that shit in there. some one is going to get the buy of a life time.

where did you get your tint done at? gotta # for me to call? i'm trying to do my tints, cuz the rear windshield has a lotta those matrix dots that won't blend in w/ the tint i had.

to the OP, i haven't seen that many montegoS around, so your color is still special in a way. as to space gray, i've seen way too many.
