FS: 162's 5K miles w/RFT's & TPMS
I am selling my 18" 162's. I just took them off to put on my 20's. Comes with the RFT's and TPMS. Some curb rash. Asking $1,000 plus actual cost of shipping.

Here's some pictures of the wheels that my wife took. I'm in Kansas and she's in Indiana with the wheels/tires, so I apologize if they're not the best.

I don't think those have TPM's
Those are rubber valve stems and usually that means they do not have TPM's inside. When did you buy your car? Was it a March 2007 build or older?

It was built in January 2007 and should have TPMS. When I put on the 20's, I ran over a nail and the low tire pressure warning came on. I never had any error messages while I was driving with these on.

Those don't have TPMS installed. You have the passive monitoring system indicated by the rubber valve stems.

All cars with a build date after March 2007 have the active TPMs.
Cars with rubber valve stems have the ABS system monitor the wheel speed relative to the others and if it is different, it will indicate low pressure. These tires have no TPM. Also, if they had TPM, there would be a funny gray valve cover that is "T" shaped that clearly says TPM Inside Reset TPM. I have another post with these pictures and this description. For those that need TPM's, they can be purchased from Gary at Tire Rack for about $200 total for all four.

So if you change to non runflats you can use the fix a flat(slime products) to get you to the tire repair shop without worrying about clogging up the internal wheel sensors?
