Installed BB Flash and car runs great
I don't have any logs yet but the car is running so much smoother and it feels like I picked up a good amount of power.
I can say this, when I put it in 2nd rolling at 30mph and I punch it the car breaks the tires loose and I can feel the rear end wanting to slide. It never did this before when it was just the Cobb BMS Flash Now its BB BMS Flash

Are you on pump or race, e85?
I haven't heard that BB bt cable bms pump flash had anything over pump flash via cobb. I haven't purchased a cable yet because of this. |

+1... I'm trying to figure out if it would benefit me, if I run straight 93 octane 75% of the time, and 4 gallons of E85 the other 25% of the time.

It would have been interesting to see where the bump in power came from.
Are you sure it's just not the lower ambient temps making the car break loose and feel more powerful. At the end of the day boost is boost and ignition is ignition. |

I did the same with my JB4 via Cobb... super smooth. I actually do have an old log somewhere of just Cobb before going JB4 and I was getting throttle closures and post shift timing drops.

BB flash won;t yield any benefit over COBB because it is the BB flash but because it was probably more aggressive that the COBB backend that was given to you.
The variables that Terry modifies in the tables are available to change in both cases. OP, not trying to say you didn't make power but I want to make it clear to everyone that the power bump you received was due to updates in the flash that could have equally been done in COBB. I'm glad you are enjoying your car |
