Suspension Mods?

I need some ideas for the most significant improvement in handling (without dropping more than $2k on parts) on an '11 N55 sedan with MSport Pkg... I was thinking of upgrading to the M3 control arms/bushing kit and anti-roll bars.

Recommendations???

If you expand your budget by a couple hundred you can get the Koni shock/Swift SpecR setup AND front control arms. That would SIGNIFICANTLY improve the handling of your car. It will not give you a significant drop from the sport, but the linear springs will give a more consistent and confident drive. You will also have adjustability within the shocks so if you ever attend AutoX or track events you will be able to change your level of dampening. Let us know if you have any more detailed questions!

Thanks for the recommendations. So, basically a set of good coilovers and proper setup along with only front control arms? And you're saying anti sway bars would not be effective as what you stated above? Also, your take on subframe bushing upgrades? Thanks again!

Sway bars are great for long sweeping turns ....... The control arms really helps in steering.

think of sway bars as the icing on a cake....

the sways will tie everything in together....better. But you want to get the big things out of the way first...shock/spring/conrol arms/sub frame bush./etc/etc

once all of that is done, go ahead with the sway bars.

Leave the sway bars for last. They should used to balance the handling of the vehicle only.

If you have the budget, the subframe bushings should be on the top of your list right behind a quality set of coil overs.
