My auto lights and wipers have stopped working

I have changed my roof lining from grey to black. the new lining came with all the fittings I.e cabin lights and grab handles. Since doing the conversion my wipers are no longer automatic , when you press the auto button it simply puts them on intermittent even if it's not raining. And when you put the auto lights on they are on perminantly .

What's gone wrong ?

Hmm the rain sensor in the rear view mirror is only 6 moths old ( had a new one with a windscreen replacement )
