It is your tire pressure monitor. You need to reset it - read the manual for instructions. Probably happened if one tire is low on air, or you just installed your winter tires and the car detects a difference in rotation from one wheel to the next (Canadian + European cars use the ABS for TPMS - record differeces in wheel-to-wheel rotation, rather than actual pressure sensors in the wheels).

Ive had the flat tire symbol on the top for a while because i just got new tires. but i have never noticed that little one beside the D, dont know if they are related or what not.. please post if you know anything about it! most people are saying its related to tire pressure

The triangle is the "something is wrong" warning that indicates a "check system" condition you need to look at - either on the iDrive screen or via the turn signal stalk's scroll. For instance, in the case of tire warning, if you press the end of the stalk the tire warning will go away but the triangle will remain.

Nothing to serious, maybe washer fluid low, +1qt oil, upcoming service, etc. Youd have to check the system as stated above

As stated before - the Warning Triangle to the right of the 'D' is just to alert you that there is something that needs your attention - look up above to the other icon to see what that is - in this case it is your TPMS, so low tire somewhere...
Heck that warning triangle even comes on when you're low on gas

The following procedure must be performed to select a CC message: 1. Press the rocker switch in the steering column stalk up or down until the "Check Control" function appears in the instrument cluster. 2. Press the BC button on the steering column stalk and confirm the display. 3. Press the rocker switch up or down to select the CC messages. 4. Press the BC button on the steering column stalk to exit the menu. Selecting ID Code of Check Control Message An ID code is assigned to each symbol of a CC message. The ID code can be called up in the instrument cluster with the following procedure: 1.Call up CC message, see steps 1 to 3. 2.Press and hold the BC button until the ID code appears in the instrument cluster. |
