Actually it's awesome with the paddle shifters! Just be sure to get the Alpina TCU flash for faster shifts.

not a waste! track time is always good for you!
for hardcore track use, it isn't ideal because of cooling issues, but if you're just out there to have fun, you shouldn't have much to worry about - especially this time of year. |

If you have a 335, you will eventually have issues with cooling the car (coolant and oil) due to part of the radiator being used for the auto tranny cooler, but if you aren't pushing the car more than 7/10ths or so, you will probably be fine.
