FS: VRSF V2 Exhaust modified for xi

I'm putting my VRSF up for sale. It is still on the car but should be off either this week or next. The volume of this exhaust is great, quiet when you want it but screams on WOT. The tone is imo the best for the N54. It has no rasp and just sounds like a smooth turbo 6 cylinder. The only reason i'm selling it is because it is too low to be on my car as a DD. My car sits with no wheel gap and even taking speed bumps at an angle I scrape.

The exhaust is in great condition and has been on for less than 6 months and 3k miles. I have scraped the clamps a few times on bumps but from peaking under the car it has done no damage and they still seal perfect with no leaks. If that's something that worries you, you can buy a new V-band.

The reason my price is so high is because as far as I know I have the ONLY VRSF exhaust that works 100% with xi cars with catless downpipes. When I installed it I had 3 o2 sensors go out. I had MNC Performance in oceanside look at it and he said the way the y-pipe was made it was causing the sensors to hit on my downpipes. Tiago said that he needs to revise the exhaust to work with catless downpipes on an xi car so again I have the only one that works 100%. Modifying the y-pipe was done by MNC and cost me $350. Pictures of the modified y-pipe and videos will be below. Once I have it off the car i'll take some more pics. The shop that installed the exhaust originally also said that the clamps for the tips supplied by VRSF were pieces of shit. He replaced those with higher quality clamps which i'm also including in the sale. PM for any questions you may have.

Price is $670 picked up $700 shipped right now.

Link to MNC's Instagram where they posted the pic of the y-pipe http://statigr.am/viewer.php#/detail...78286_55976505

Just so everyone knows what i'm saying about having to modify the pipe isn't bull shit here is a link to a post from Tiago:

No idea because i've never heard that exact setup but this is known as a tame exhaust. I have heard a PE with catless DP's in person and honestly it is way too raspy for my taste. Especially when it gets into the higher RPM range it just starts to sound like a fart to me. This exhaust is quiet while cruising but WOT at all RPM's it produces a smooth tone with no rasp. The videos should illustrate the sound relatively well but if I have a serious buyer who is willing to drive to me, I could let them hear it in person. If you take a look at some PE videos with DP's you'll hear the rasp i'm talking about. Some people love rasp though so each person is going to have a different preference

Here's a pic for reference. It's not that I can't drive the car with this (i've been daily driving it since I had it installed over the summer), it's just becoming too much of a hassle and too much stress for me.

@psmitty95 what time are you thinking about going to take the exhaust off on Saturday?

i ask because i might be in Stamford on saturday and i would like to hear what it sounds like in person and might just buy it from you right then and there and how much you think the shop will charge me to install it at the same time?

I'm going to head up to the shop around 1 ish so should be there around 1:45-2. It's in seymour ct which is about a 45 min drive north for me and about 30 min north from stamford. If you want to meet there we definitely can. The owner of the shop said he wants $150 for the install because this exhaust is a "pain in the ass". He installed it back when i didnt have the y-pipe modified though so it was more difficult. I could ask if he would do it for $100 for you if you want. Let me know

Ok sounds good. If you want details on exactly what had to be done to modify the y-pipe for an xi you can ask Martin or any of the MNC guys since they are the ones that modified it

Ok sounds good. Just re-read my post and meant to see what had to be done not what has to be done. Martin already modified the y-pipe so this exhaust will work perfectly with a catless xi car

Well from what I understand you don't need to. You should be able to run stock downpipes with this exhaust fine, but when you are ready to run catless downpipes it should be no issue since it is already modified

This modified version will only work with XI cars with aftermarket DP's. The only DP's we've discovered issues with this exhaust are our XI DP's and AR's XI DP's.

This exhaust will fit XI's with OEM DP's without modification.

Oh ok thanks for clearing that up. The exhaust sold a few days ago to bijgjoe53. I already miss it a ton and forgot how much different this stock exhaust is. Thanks again for the great product and support you provided me with during my ownership of it @Tiago@VRSF
