Well few months ago I got valve cover gasket replace due to my car was leaking/ heard a whistling sound once in a while and idle go nuts and stall . Idle still little rough coming home today I pulling up to red light and still rolling it stays at 1000 rpm and thinking no again! Kept it from stalling and (got video will upload soon ) the more I stopped it from stalling the louder more frequent whistle comes on. Let it stall, turn back on back to normal (idle still little rough) thoughts? First time in a while randomly
Tensioner needs to b replace soon but could this be cause?
Bad gas thought... I put highest mobile and shell v power in and had techron last tank ago

Vacuum leak possibly? Sometimes that can cause your idle to rise. Check all your hoses and make sure they are connected properly.

I agree with post above. Also, check all your fitting and hoses on or around the VCG you just replaced.
