Yes and I have coilovers. Its really no different with AS.

Yes it is different! The shop you take it to has to have the BMW computer to hook it up to (GT1). Active steering has steering angle calibration that needs to be zero-ed with the GT1 computer before and alignment can be done. Most tire/alignment shops will NOT have the GT1 to do so. Dealer charges twice the price (almost) to get it done.
Regular shop did mine (active steering) and ROYALLY fucked it up, took it to the dealer and they fixed it! Would recommend the dealer based on my experience.
