Comfort access issue on one door. Possible to code out that door CA?

So one of my passenger doors comfort access door handle sensor is failing and will work only 20% of the time, but also causing power drain while the car if off and locked overnight.

Is it possible to code out and shut that door comfort access off completely?

You can just unplug the CA sensor.

1. Undo the bolt that holds the handle in place.
2. Pull out the handle.
3. Unclip the wire.
4. Do reverse.
5. ???
6. Profit.

I think on the E60's the wire is from the inside, I have to remove the door panel. On my E90 I would assume it is how you said.

Forgot to mention this is for my E60 in the first post, apologizes.
