Re-adjusting Perforamnce Exhaust
So I recently had Budd's BMW install a new performance exhaust on my 335i. It took them over 3 hours to do this simple install, would have taken them 5 if I didn't complain Anyways in the end the tips do not align. By the time they were done I did not have the time to stick around and complain again. I know the PE has some room for play, wondering if anybody can help make some minor adjustments. I need them to stick out a bit more and have them even again does anybody in york region how to do this?

First mistake is going to budds I have never once heard good thing about them at all. I was there looking at cars and asked a sales women a question. She snubbed me so I went else where. Save yourself the haste and just go somewhere else

Funny thing, they took 3 hours to install it on mine and in the end the tips didn't align on mine neither.. I hate it when you pay top dollar, and satisfaction isn't exceeded...

I did my own install, took 15 minutes to measure and mark, install took 5 minutes, adjusting it took another 5. All these were done in my own garage. Even though it align perfectly, it shifted after a month of driving

Budd's had the 'deal' on the PE; took forever...was told that the tech wanted to get it right... was pretty much the last one out the door.
Fitment wasn't perfect either. If it weren't for the price, would have definitely gone elsewhere.

In my personal opinion, the exhaust tips on the pe look like shit, they're way to small they don't stick out enough. My dinan exhaust tips IMHO look way nicer, larger diameter and stick out nicely..

I live too far to go back. Only went there because it was in stock. I noticed the tips have moved a bit and are now pretty aligned now time to remove secondary cats

I got mine installed at the local BMW stealership. They quoted 1.5 hours. It took 3 hours. I paid for 2 hours. Go back and get it re-ajusted.
