I'll take 161 over 162s any day.
Even if I have an 330 ZSP, I'll swap it in a heartbeart over those 162s. 162s are too elegant IMHO, seems like Prima Donna, or a Home-Coming Queen in a race track.

Yup! arrogance seems like a perfect word!
![]() the 161's is a racing man's alloys; "Lets just race and get the job done, kinda attitude!" while, the 162's are; "Wait! Wait! I cant race now, I have to get me nails polish! Can we do it later, Call me okay!" ![]()

Let me add to that, since you got me on the roll,
"RFT tires are not the real mans tire" My attitude is: if I get a flat, its my job to get it done. Instead of: "Saying, I dont believe this dealers, taking 3 days to get my tire, to add to my wait of 2 hrs for BMW assist. Wait until, I write to BMW about this" As if BMW, doesnt have enough on their plate. I'd say, "Give me that F*cking jack, and let me get this thing done, Now! hang me over the wrench, hurry! for I cant hold on lifting this car any longer, hurry pls! AGHHH!" Thats the American Way! ![]() if they only gave me a spare and stock this RFT all the time, I wouldn't be bitching so much! Aghh!

Agreed. RFT's while in some ways practical-I didnt feel comfortable with the concept of NO Spare---When they come out with a Ultra High Performance RF with more than a insanely inadequate treadwear 0f 140(give me a break) I might reconsider them......There is certainly a sense of accomplishment and self-sufficientcy in taking care of your own problems. This is my first Beemer as i've been an Acura Man. Those days are past as while the TL was a wonderful car one cannot compare..
What are you doing as far as a spare and where did you get your Jack Kit???Looks like a BMW kit......Definitely not a lot of trunk space.

I used one of my summer tires (front 225/45/17 Pilot Sports) as my spare. And will do the reverse during summer.
I was temped to get E46 spare from leatherz.com, for they fit (as per salesperson and forum member) but Im on a holding pattern, bcoz I found out that mycurrent spare, makes better dead weight for winter snow driving. But Im still considering the leatherZ ref: http://leatherz.com/Merchant2/mercha...egory_Code=E46 As for jacking, I bought the BMW Jack-kit $125. that was the straw that broke the camels back, in my feeling about this RFT/Spare business. ref: http://www.circlebmw.com/parts/acc/71106773536.htm and I also carry a can of "Fix a Flat"

![]() Who in the f*ck invited you in this discussion? You have a 330i and you think your superior to everyone with comments like that. Not even a excuse me or IMHO, this is a discussion between two 325i owners. How rude! just found out you cant even get your washer fluid in order, so how much credit can we give you in matter like this. you're a funny kid http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9240

I'm not harshing on your wheels, I actually like them better than the big goofy 162s. I just thought it was a funny statement. The 325/330 chip on your shoulder isn't warranted, if you'd searched more you'd see all my posts that I actually wanted a stripped 325 because the 330 weights so much. |

You just came from nowhere, and caught me by surprise while I was having an engaged conversation between fello 325i owners. np! just honk! b4 you drive in, so I wont be blind-sided. This public arena leaves much to be desired, since its really hard to predict someones mood, attitude, and demeanor. And those emoIcons helps, but not entirely. Regards! ![]()

ASE.........Reesolved part of the issue by going to a local Auto Parts place "Auto Zone... Scissor Jack+Small Size Metric Lug Wrench=$32 They let me go out and see if the jack lift part fits into the BMW rectangular spot on the frame and sure as shit did...Lowcost solution. Even though i totally think your BMW kit is "da bomb".
Now i just need to get my hands on the 17" donut/spacesaver. Did my research and doesnt seem to be any!!!! The only one goes for like $200  ![]()
