Procede oil temp boost compensation

Does any one remember which advanced setting is the the boost compensation oil temp? I remember reading a thread where Shiv said how to change it but didn't pay it any mind when it was hot outside. I cannot find the thread for the life of me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Awesome thank you! I'm really just looking to set it 5-7° cooler. So if i set line 8 to zero does that disable oil comp all together? Cold engine =full boost?
I'm responsible enough to wait for optimal engine temp before getting on it so i don't care one way or another if its disabled or a few degrees cooler. It's just after being on the highway for a mile or 2 my oil temp sits on the boarder and i can see my boost set point shifting. It's been getting in the 50s here at night so my temps are a little cooler and more steady.

I'm not sure why you and a few others keep insinuating Shiv has abandoned the PROcede or this platform considering he just released a new firmware for the flexfuel which can be input manually so it doesn't require the flexfuel kit.

The PROcede is by far the most flexible piggyback available for tuning our platform when stacked with a flash. You're going to see more people take advantage of this technology once they see the numbers we can make.

I have to laugh because NO ONE is this critical about COBB. What has COBB done lately? If it wasn't for the ProTUNING Freaks COBB would be dead.

Just an example of what can be done with a custom tuned PROcede and Flash... How about a stock turbo fbo XI making 460 awhp and 520 awtq... Not bad if I say so myself. I just tuned an RB car in Texas. 531 whp and 670 wtq on a Mustang Dyno. That's like 579 whp on a dynojet and I haven't even tweaked the tuning on that car... That was the baseline after install at only 18 psi. The guy is going to get a dyno on a dynojet today to validate the power output as well as turn up the mid range boost.

There is a lot on the table, but everyone keeps waiting for Shiv to spoon feed them new OTS maps or release new PROcede maps. We have the information and the knowledge to make the changes we need to the existing maps to make more power than we have ever made before, we just need to take advantage of what we have and stop worrying about what we don't.

If you need help with anything, feel free to hit me up for assistance.

Active temp = 2.5 X input value. Value of 28 gives ~70*C tune switchpoint.

Do you happen to know what the functions of the other advanced parameters are?

Flexfuel and big turbo are a lsmall percentage of people.
for the stage 1,2,3 or FBO cars the only LAST available maps is 9-10 aggrssive and have long Beta.

I spent $995 for the procede .
if I look at the competition JB4 with half price provides a better assistance and a lot of corrections like pump gas maps and bimmerflash solutions.

Backend flash maps in order to correct for example 29f2 code errors is not free......

That's the problem, you can only see what is in front of you. Just because it has beta on it you assume that it's not going to be for everyone or it should have been updated. You think the JB4 isn't beta? Terry changes the firmware constantly. You also put yourself into a fixed box when it comes to tuning your car. For me one size doesn't fit all. Yes, the JB has pre-defined maps, but you can't really change anything with those maps and you are stuck with map6 if you want to do custom tuning. There is no passive option with the JB so if you want to flash tune for track day and not use the piggy back, you can't do that with the JB4. Also, the JB4 doesn't work well with high load flash tuning. That's why Terry uses the low load flash maps. The PROcede will let you do all of that and if you custom tune it you can have Aggressive flash for Map0, Pump gas Map1, and Race Map2 with defined boost targets. You can't do that with the JB4 because Map0 is not passive. Again, knowing what you have and how to use it is half the battle. But don't make assumptions that the grass is greener until you have actually used that product. You don't need an OFT to flash your car with Vishnu OTS. How do you think Terry got his XDF files to do his low load BIN files? Buy a BT cable and you too can tune your car so that the DME is doing fueling and timing which it does much better than both the JB or PROcede. Then stack the PROcede so that it only does boost control. I can guarantee your car will be more responsive and much more aggressive with fewer limps running high load/high torque limit flash.

If you need help with this or have more questions how you can take advantage of all the options, let me know. I need to start my own tuning business for Flash/Stacking because a lot of people could use help with getting the most out of there tune just like the COBB boyz.

I'd love to hear more about flashing Vishnu backend maps for E85
Without open flash tablet.

I'd like the backend flash if for nothing else to get rid of the annoying fuel mixture codes.
I have a BT cable.

ok
next week i try to edit my I8A0S bin file in order to optimize fueling, vanos and throttle
My main task is to solve the issue about my "crazy fuel trims and aggressive 9-10 maps"
On the track or on the highways the code 29f2 is triggered when WOT on fifth gear

No offense man, but no way that car will put down 579whp on a dynojet. Those numbers are surely inflated. full out kill mode for RB's will put you at 530whp on E85 and meth.

And we said that same about Stock turbo's until they hit another milestone.

I think the record stands around 550 whp today, but that's just what I was told. I really don't care until the numbers come back and I see all the data.

BTW, non-taken. I just hope the guy isn't just blowing smoke because he's remote so I have to rely on what he's telling me.

Soooooo anyone know what the other advanced parameters control or do? Im tempted to try and get the maps to load in htech 1.08 and see if i can make anything of it.

Maybe you Ken could help me with this?
