17" ASA AR1 on 335i with Sport??

I was looking around and there seems to be a fit problem with 17" wheels on 335 sedans with sport packages installed. I have a set of 17x8 ASA AR1 SML wheels with winter tires left over from my e90 325i. Does anyone know if they are going to fit on my 335? Tire rack does not list those wheels when I input my car into their system. Am I SOL?

You're kind of in a good position in that you own both the car and the wheels. Jack up the car and put one on the front to see if it will fit.

BTW, this situation affects all 335s, not just ones with sport package. This seems to be a common misconception.

I don't think that 17" wheel is going to fit your 335
I remember that 335's rotor is bigger than 325

Umm, the stock wheel for 335s is 17". Some 17s will fit, others won't.

You sure on that? I know the E92, regardless of it has a sports package or not, you will get an 18 inch wheel, just different style.

im wondering if spacers would help the fit and if spacers are dangerous

does not fit

Spent a few minutes tonight and tried fitting the wheel to the car. Nope it does not fit. The wheel gets caught up on the top of the caliper.

thanks for the help and suggestions.

Spacers may help but from eye balling it I'm guessing that I'd need at least 20mm, more likely more. Don't think I'm going to bother.
