End of Warranty Work

My 2010 3-series warranty is going to run out at the end of December. Anyone have any a suggestions on things I should be getting done or have checked before it runs out? They offered me an extended warranty as well, but it's 3rd party. I wonder if I'll even need it since I only have driven 43,000kms in almost 4 years.

Well the inline 6 with that many kms is gonna last without issues for a while. You'll need to check out the valve gasket to see if its leaking (this is normal for the N1/N2 engines), and eventually get a water pump (70,000-rare to 140,000kms). If I were you, I would get a good indy and your set. Another thing, what are you planning on doing with the car? Keeping it for a few more years and getting rid of it? or keeping it forever

I'm always checking out new cars. The new F30 M-Sport or even the upcoming M3, but I'm starting to save for my next home (moving from condo to a house). So I guess if I were to get an extended warranty I will end up keeping the car at least as long as the end of the warranty. Anyone know of a good independent BMW shop in Calgary?
