Me Procede 1.47 vs 993 Turbo AUTOBAHN
So tonight im looking for races on the autobahn.. and to my luck up comes a 993 Turbo 911.. Ohh such a beautiful and classic car.. Was spitting fire as well.. we both took off. I am Happy to say.. I had more power just Barely and pulled on him, We both hit 155mph he just a tad ahead and just cruised along.. in the high speed 155mph bends he would put a little distance on me as im stock suspension and he had some tricks.. but on the straights it was close to neck and neck with me haveing the slight advantage.. He was in shock.. I love the 993 Turbo is is beautiful.. and was Fun to race.. Legally!

Damn, you are crazy driving your car on "155mph bends"!
We need an autobahn in the US.

V2 with speed limit elimination will be even more fun. Get M-sport suspension and Y rated tires.
The Autobahns are wonderful roads. Expensive to build though, for the US to pay for replacing our current superhighways with Autobahn-quality roads would cost a couple months of Iraq war expenses...

Nice run! Sounds about right. Stock 993 tt would be a close race with a tuned 335. Just watch out for those nasty 964 3.6t's, tuned 993tt or the mother of everything badarse...Ruf!
I have a nice pic of my 3.6t shooting a 2-3 ft flame somewhere. If I find it I'll post it. Plus a nice sound clip of the car that made small children run and hide and left their daddies wanting. |

Thanks guys.. Yea it was an incredible run.. I just kept hitting the speedlimiter over and over again.. drives me insance.. he was only a few kmh faster than me at top speed so i think his was due to areodynamic drag.. The guy tried sooo hard to loose me, but i came out on top in the end.. he wouldnt even glance at me.. totally confused a stock looking 3 series just dished out the same punishment.. lol..
as for video its at 11pm, dark as hell, and im doing 155mph / 260kmh. the adrenaline was running and i couldnt even keep my gas foot steady, it was hopping all over the pedal.. takes a lot of balls and concentration to hold it up there for a long time and thru the bends... video was not possible unless i would have had a passeneger.. Im waiting for V2, speed delimter mod, and my FSD Konis, LSD Quaife, HR Sways to go in next week.. Then ill be solid and ready to run the hishspeed bends and take over on the straights.. more kill stories to come |

He's lighter, more powerful, more aerodynamic, and doesn't have a speed limiter (can do 190 mph or so).
I think you just beat the driver, had you been in the 993TT you would have obliterated him. |

Top speed on that car is 187 drag limited. Maybe he just had small balls and didnt want to push it any higher. As long as he is in front he wins.

"993 Turbo (1995–1998) A Turbo version of the 993 was launched in 1995 and became the first standard production Porsche with twin exhaust turbochargers and the first 911 Turbo to be equipped with permanent all-wheel-drive (in order to delete the 4WD, one had to refer to the more powerful and race homologated GT2). The similarity in specification and in performance levels inspired several comparison road tests with the Porsche 959 (f.e. Car and Driver, July 1997, p. 63). The 3.6 L twin turbo M64/60 engine produced 408 PS (300 kW)." |

This is a sound clip of what my 3.6t sounds like with a Fabspeed bypass pipe: Turn up the volume and enjoy! Nasty 3.6t No H20! I found the pic of my 3.6t shooting flames: This car ran a 9.8 60-130 mph. It is quick! |
