Winter Window Cover
Can anyone recommend me a cover to protect against frost etc preferably for all windows?
I know there's loads out there but a lot have mixed reviews or sizing irregularities so I'm a bit stumped at what one to go for! ![]() |

BMW Accessory
I've always used BMW's own accessory when I've needed to park outside in winter. It fits perfectly, doesn't flap in the wind and covers the entire screen and side windows perfectly. You'll get cheaper for sure but I doubt you'll get better in terms of fit and function

it fits the E90/E91 better , it will fit the Coupe but as the doors are longer it does not cover all of the side windows not by much though

See i go with this, couple cheap asda towels, get some handy sewing going, custom made in your choice of colour for no where near £51.00 and if some one nicks it, good for them, as it may mean some one who needs a bath and can have one and dry off

Nice frosty morning
and your towel has stopped your windscreen getting frozen..... but your towel in now covered in frost and will soon be sopping wet. With the real thing you merely take it off and as the frost melts it drip dries, ready for the next night. For the £50 or £60 it costs, its a no-brainer in terms of protection and convenience

Call me old fashioned, but what's wrong with a traditional ice scraper?
![]() I couldn't be doing with fucking about with a cover every night and having to hang it up somewhere each day, just because of a bit of frost in the morning. |

It's not the cost (although £50 for a glorified towel is a bit silly), it's the faff, as mentioned earlier.

Lidl/Aldi were selling windscreen cover protectors for around £2 the other week.
They looked quite good actually.
