Roasted a 335i (E92) on I-75 today!

Now that I have everyone's attention....

Why is it that none of you guys ever head out to the Tower Shops? Just curious. I have been there a few times, and the most I have seen are 5 cars at most.

It would be cool if more of you guys would go. I know it may be far for some of you, but for a lot of you it might not be.

By the way, I was kidding about roasting a 335i, BimmermanSfl runs circles around me. He has a youtube video.

I knew I would get you guys....

Last week kinda sucked because of the rain and all - they kicked everyone out but it would be cool to start seeing you guys there. It is a great time to hang out and check out eachother's rides. And the usual bimmer row is next to the stang row so we are practically neighbors.

I won't let Bimmerman divulge where the video is for the sake of my pride.

All kidding aside - let me know if you guys need directions or anything. There aren't any assigned spots but you can get there early and "reserve" a section. At least that's what we do. We bring some cones along and reserve 10-20 spots.

Seriously, he has a point. It would be really cool if we showed some strong numbers at least once. Would love to see the look on the STI and WRX guys....

Yeah the weather has sucked really bad lately.

I am going in for shoulder surgery tomorrow so I doubt I will be taking the Stang on Friday, but who knows - I may show up with the family just to change scenery a bit.

yeah i have been missing going to towers, and the sad part is that its like 10 minutes away from my house. i will probaly show up this friday after i get the exhaust and chip installed. we should start up a meet list, the weather has been pretty good this week too.

He runs circles around you? I have a 335 and I know their speed, but my bro has an 05 GT with only a K&N intake and a VMP tune and he consistently puts down 13.1 in the 1/4 @ ~107

Fine you got me... I can roast a 335i.

There are plenty of s197 stangs running mid 12's with minor bolt ons and slicks. I am waiting to get a set of slicks some time next year.

I just didn't want to post that and start getting flamed on the boards..

I had a run in with a sapphire blue coupe last week. I didn't post the story - but he learned his lesson. He'll think twice about being so cocky about a bone stock 335i - not to mention cursing in front of my kid.

Not trying to talk trash dude.... I have tons of respect for the 335i - trust me. The proceed is definitely pushing that twin turbo motor to some stellar numbers.

This thread was originally to get you guys to come out to the Tower SHops in Davie - the title was an attention getter.

I'll be there on the 30th for sure. I won't be running until I get slicks - I already went sideways on the 1-2 shift as well as the 2-3 so 4 runs getting the crap scared out of me was enough.
