Cobb maps
Hi everyone. I'm looking for older maps for my cobb ap. Currently running on stg 1 aggressive v401. I'm looking for 203 and 301 stg1 aggressive. Does anybody know where I can download them. I contacted Cobb, they said they don't have them anymore and recommend running the newest version. I been looking everywhere on google and couldn't find it.

I run 401 and they do run great. Just not as powerful as 203 or 301. I even seen some dyno comparison where 203 and 301 make more hp in higher rpms than 401. I ran these maps before and they really felt a little faster

You can try and run a more aggressive map!
I think you are getting used to the power time to bump it up. Last edited by marc@x-ph.com; 11-14-2013 at 12:19 PM.. |

Can't find it, but i think it was posted on this site. 401 makes more power in low rpms for sure, but looses a lot off boost at high rpm. It boosts around 15-16 psi at 4.5-5rpm and goes down to about 11psi at 6.5rpm. Older maps would give more psi at the red line.

When i was running 203 I would roll in 1st gear, floored it and it would burn rubber from 4k rpm all the way to red line. With the new map it only make a a little scratch around 5k rpm. And that won't happen every time I floor it.

Outside temperature & tire variables ( condition, type, tire pressure) are variables that play a role in that as well. The revisions to the OTS maps made them smoother, where you might "feel" you lost power when you really didn't.

I've done soo many tests. Its not just outside conditions. Plus, I will look for the dyno graphs. Like i said before, new maps have more power off the line, but old maps had more top end. And I would like to have more power in my high rpms than in low.

You can raise your target up top a bit with ATR.
