Fog lights only work sometimes?

Hey all. I have the xentec 5000k hid fog light bulbs. Somehow, the left fog light doesn't work sometimes during start up. The right one will work all the time. I have to always repress the button till it finally starts up. Does it have to do anything with the ballast or how i plugged the 2 male connectors? That's all I could think about. My gp thunders worked with no problems before I had these hids. Thanks all.

Do you have a canceller/canbus installed?

That's the problem when using HID's.. They either work for a long time or they just give too many problems from the start.. I can't tell you how many times I went into the shop to get my driver side fog fixed..

I had the same problem with my HID fogs. I got my car coded to cancel out the bulb check for the fogs. Never had the problem since and it has been over a year.
