Seat Cover ???
I recently bought my first and probably not last BMW. It's a starter 328XI I couldn't say no too. I like black on black or brown on black. Exterior is black but interior is beige. I am thinking of black seatcovers and wanted to find out what covers are really good for our cars.
Any suggestions? |

My man, don't do it. Just saw this and wanted to warn you.
Had an 07 328i white over cream beige up till earlier this year and was of the same school of thought. For a few months my girl was between cars and using mine half the time. due to the constant in and out of passengers dirtying the seats and f'ing up the seat bottom bolster by sitting on it to get in I got the BMW seats vests in black, I was thinking the contrast would look good too. Well, after a few months I go to take them off and my seats underneath are soot black. I guess between heat and the friction my beige seats were now black from the dye rubbing off. Maybe if I prewashed them it would've transferred a bit less but if ur seats are clean and in good condition I wouldn't trust black covers, or frankly any color (the beige covers arent a perfect match to the leather) due to dye transfer. I just use bath towels draped over my front seats now, same benefit and its free instead of the 100 bucks or we for the OEM covers. |
