Non matching tint
I am getting my car tinted tomorrow. I can't decide the %. I have always gone with uniform % but I am thinking of going non match tomorrow.
Would non matching draw more attention from the cops (say 35% front which is legal here and 20% in back)? Why do some go with a dark rear windshield? Any photos will of non matching tint will help. |

Yikes! down in Texas we don't have any laws for the back windows.... I have 0% on the back and 20% in front, so there is def. a noticeable difference. I will snap some pictures later

Great Post! I just replaced my 328i with a 335i and they did a 0% back windshield, 20% back windows and 35% front windows...
If I did it again I would do 0% back windshield and 35% all doors... I don't like the difference between the front and back windows from the side or front although if looking at the car from behind the blacked out back window is badass! (Space Grey). |

I have mixed window tint for front and rear. No it won't draw more attention. 35% is too light. Maybe you can go slightly darker. Look at my garage list photos. It's sexy lol.

Well the 2 big windows (windshield and back) if you tint them really dark that effects side windows since less light coming in. I have 30 around on mine i think just windshield strip tho, its good but when sunny i wish could be darker probably just get my windshield tinted so sides look darker. dont mix on side windows! but that's my option..
