Got some codes and questions (Cobb)

So I was out for a spirited run today and all of a sudden I noticed the car was cutting out on me at multiple throttle positions almost like it wasn't getting any gas and kind of hicupping. I then noticed that my yellow check engine light was on. I am running the cobb stage 2 aggressive w/FMIC. When I got home I checked the codes with the cobb and got the following:

P2AAF
P2DC3
P2E8D
P2D2E
H2AAF

I'm pretty sure at least the P2AAF and H2AAF codes are related to the HPFP (my car still has the original HPFP with 44,xxx). One question I had was that I checked my codes a couple weeks ago for something else with the cobb but did not delete the codes. How do I know which of the above codes are new and which might just be old codes that I didn't clear from last time? Also, this time I cleared all the codes after checking them and am wondering if I shouldn't have cleared them so the dealer can see them when I take my car in to be checked out (hopefully just need a new HPFP under the extended warranty). In order for the dealer to be able to see these codes, do I need to uninstall the cobb and drive around some more until I throw some more codes without the cobb? I know I'll need to uninstall the cobb before I take it to the dealer. Also, my car is pretty much FBO; that won't prevent me from getting a new HPFP under the extended 10yr 100k warranty will it? Have any of you guys got this replaced under warranty with full bolt ons?

When a code begins with P it means it is Present. H means a Historic code. When you uninstall the AP it will automatically clear codes meaning that the codes would need to be recreated when stock. Unless your dealer SA is ok with your mods(which is unlikely but not unheard of) then I always recommend uninstalling the AP and mods when going in for service. Mods technically can't prevent the dealer from doing work under recall but that doesn't mean they wont try.

Your codes are TPS position, battery and trimming control. It's possible they may be linked to the battery ground cable recall. From my experience getting what appears to multiple seemingly unrelated codes normally a battery or fuse is to blame.

Thanks for the info but what about the P2AAF code, doesn't that have to do with the high pressure fuel pump? I have already had the battery ground cable recall done.....Also, I can uninstall the cobb, drive around stock to get some codes again, then just use the cobb to read the codes again but without re-installing the cobb again right?
By the way, I'll be in touch with you guys soon for a pro-tune, gotta get this problem figured out first though....

2AAF codes are very common. Unless you are getting other HPFP related codes or long cranks then I wouldn't necessarily jump to that.

Correct, when the AP is uninstalled it can still read/clear codes. Uninstalling the AP and visiting the dealer may be your best bet.

It's too bad you can't remove the Cobb and still leave the codes.

Most likely, the p2aaf code will come back after you uninstall Cobb. Just drive it for a while. You can still check for codes even after you uninstall

I was getting P2AAF code along with some cylinder misfire codes while running OTS stage1+ maps, NEVER could get car to throw codes stock ever....

Luckily I am great friends with my SA outside of dealership so we were able to take care of my issues under extended warranty (coils, plugs, injectors and walnut blasting)

Also since getting issues fixed I have worked with Jake@PTF, they do excellent work, and have great customer service as well, you won't be disappointed. Haven't gotten the P2AAF code since switching to PTF custom tune.

I guess after I uninstall the cobb, I will start getting some catalytic converter codes too since I have catless DP's?

Well tonight I uninstalled the cobb and drove around for a while and the car drove perfect, no service engine soon light, no cutting out or anything. Anybody got any theories on why this was happening to me on cobb stage 2 aggressive with fmic? I've been running this same map for months with no problems until now....I will probably load the map again and see if the trouble happens again I guess......
