What's cold weather for you? I live in Montreal, Canada and no issue when -30 Celsius (-22 F)...

I know what you mean. I keep hearing all these noises. Keep thinking I must have the wastegate rattle or other broke/loose stuff but I had the car onced over by BMW specialist shop pointing out these noises on my "list" of concerns and everybody keeps saying its normal and the car is in top shape (came off CPO in July due to time not mileage...still would have had over 30k + of mileage left). Bone stock 07' manual trans. It will make all kind of racket on a monday then I jump in on tuesday and it makes NONE of these noises I really want to pile on the bolt ons (tune/intercooler/DP/charge pipe/DCI) but because of the so called 80k mile turbo warranty I'm reluctant with all this intermittent racket...so I have a garage full of suspension parts waiting on a car with no balls.

Real world first class problems

My car likes the cold but my tires tell a different story. Motor seems happier. No weird noises

No issues in ND at -40F. I drove mine all winter long and it sits outside while I'm at work for 12 hrs. All cars will make some noise when they are subjected to extreme cold temperatures, but nothing out of the ordinary.

These turbo engines love the cold thats what they were ultimately designed for in Munich. My car hates its life right now in 90 degree weather in late November down here so miserable i cant wait for my FMIC to go in

My car wants to fight me on the morning and evening cold start, and it feels like such crap when the fluids are cold. And traction sucks. But once it’s up to temp there’s no question it responds better than in the Summer. If only the pavement could be 70, ambient temp 30. Lol.

Trust me, 0 Celsius (32F) isn't cold... we get -20 Celsius (-4 F) the whole winter here and often -30 Celsius (-22F) Last February we got 7 consecutive days at -40 Celsius (-40F)... That's **** cold!
