E85 and gas can's

The closes E85 station is on the other side of town and I'm tired of driving for 15 miles to get it in my 335 that I don't drive all that often so I decided I'd buy a gas can and just keep it filled up when I'm out that way for work in my DD car.

Ummm ya, I never paid to much attention to people complaining about the new style gas cans and now that I've experienced it first hand I have found the complaints are not unfounded.

WTF is this thing? I'm an IT wiz and work on cars for fun so I'm no dummy and it took me 15 minutes to just figure out how to use the thing. I got lucky I caught the label that showed how to transport it correctly or it would have gone everywhere while driving.

Not sure how these things are safer than the old style which I have a few of but not in 5 gallons.

Garage List
I've used old meth cans. They work great... Just gave three away to a local guy on e90post.

Those older 5+ gallon gas cans are gold I'm starting to think.

Meth cans work, but when buying alcohols in bulk they are usually in steel barrels.

Something like this..

+1 i use older style gas cans that have a screw on lid and a yellow spout with a cap on the end. very easy to use. idk what they stopped making them for, because the new cans are garbage, spill everywhere, and are very complicated to use.

I'm the one Wedge gave the cans to and they work great. But the even better tip was to get the Kerosene pump from Home Depot! Stick it in any gas can and no spilling and done in a couple minutes! Make sure to get the electric one.
