Logic 7 replacement reprogram?

My logic 7 amp decided to take a shit on me. Ordered a replacement used from a car that is the exact same model and year as me. Part numbers match.

My question for those who have experienced this problem on a 3 (all search results are on a 7) is it as simple as switching them out or will there need to me reprogramming by dealer?

Also don't care for aftermarket replacement.

You can just switch them out.
