Black grills or not

Im unsure if black performance grill would good any good on my car. I think it may be too black. What do people think. If anyone's handy with photoshop that would be good.

I think it'd look much better with black grilles. ATM they stand out too much from the rest of the car.

Have a look around, there's plenty of pics on here of black cars with black grilles.

I've seen some with the standard headlights and the chrome in the lights break it up a bit. Not sure how it will look with full black out. Maybe a bit too black

I think it will look nice & compliment the theme of the car. Where is your passenger mirror btw?

the gloss performance ones would look ok, you could also swop out the chrome centres and replace with the gloss black leaving the chrome frame as an option.

Pretty much as Aserboo said, i would wrap the surrounds in carbon fibre but leave the chrome centre bit as standard, seems as the chrome shows its a 6 cylinder IIRC.

Thanks for that. I'm still not sure. May just order the performance range ones as there cheap enough.

What about sprayed a dark anthracite, almost like the carbon wrap colour in the photo but without the carbon weave effect so your not drawn to it?

you can still separate the surrounds from the centres on the performance ones so you can play around with them

I have flat black on mine. With a gloss black car, I would do flat black surrounds and leave the chrome slats in the middle. I have since painted my car frozen black and would not change back from flat grilles.

I think gloss black surrounds and leave the actual grilles chrome.

Prefer chrome on a black car. Looks way more classy IMO
