E50 Log Review Request

Ok, here's another log where I increased my ethanol blend to close to an e50 mix. This is Shiv's OFT E40 map that has been slightly modified by Wedge and then I have also made some changes. I turned back on the lean spool toggle...not sure exactly what that does. I also increased the WGDC Adder (Airflow) and WGDC Ceiling (Adder.)

My fuel trims look much better with higher ethanol content, but my target boost is still lower than what I should be hitting. I should be hitting 18-19 psi at 4K rpms, but I'm only getting 15psi. I should also be tapering down to 14-15 psi by 7k rpms, but my target boost is down to 12 psi range by 6300 rpms.

So two issues: 1) My target boost is not high enough and 2) My actual boost is not hitting the target boost after 5K rpms; also slight underboost under 5k rpms, but not nearly as bad as over 5K rpms.

Any ideas on how I can increase my target boost and fix my underboosting above 5K rpms.

Data log is located here:

Thanks

Well, I agree we need to close the gap between boost and target, but I'm not sure if you'll get more boost as you're probably hitting your load target and that's all that your DME is requesting.

Unfortunately we don't have a good way yet (I'm working on that) to log "Boost setpoint factor" and "MAF requested(WGDC)"...

Try raising the upper values in the WGDC (base) by 10% and see if that closes the gap.

If anyone else has any suggestions, please help.

What's considered the upper values in the wgdc base table? Is there a way to relate maf requested to rpm since we can't log boost setpoint or wgdc?

Bottom right corner of the WGDC base table.
