LED Number Plate Lights

One of my current bulbs has blown, and both my holders are cracked.

Being a cheapo here, but what do people think of these?

http://bit.ly/18k9cXv

Anyone got any other recommendations for holders with the LEDs already in? I know later cars came with them, but OEM ones are pretty pricey?

They will be too bright and give you bulb out warnings on the dash....

Reasons why? When they're made for BMWs, so surely have the resistor needed for the CANBUS system?

Too bright I'm not worried about.

they wont throw faults. I have them on mine & interior lights aswell. some are brighter than other bulbs depending on how many led's are in the bulb.

I fitted them (not the ones you linked but the same sort of thing) to my Audi when I had it and didn't get any errors but just be aware that a lot of sellers on EBay say they are code free when they aren't.

Yeah I've already had that with a set of bulbs.

Not doing any interior as I prefer the warm light inside. Mainly thinking these as I want to replace the holders too.

I'm looking for ones with holders as mine are broken anyway.

Ordered the ones I linked today, will post up when they're here and fitted.
