19" LM staggered reps on eBay.. anyone try 'em?
OK, please spare me the "you get what you pay for" comments.. I know.. these are reps, but in the past I have had success running rep wheels. I am simply posting this to find out if anyone has 1st hand experiance with these specific wheels..
2 deals currently on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/19-LM...WDVWQQtcZphoto http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/19-ST...ayphotohosting EDIT: did some searching.. same wheels?? http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=88954 EDIT2: after searching I realize the rear wheels doesn't have a stepped lip? not cool.. anyone else bothered by this? I'm interested in a set of LM rep. (EX-M1) too. But seems like no one here ever posted real life experience with this setup. JleviSW claimed that they have sold 5-6 set of these but I have not seen any pic on members' car yet.
I really like to see a close up shot on e90 before I make my decisions ![]() |

Thanks. I saw that post too. This is the only member's post for e92 so far. I like to see how they fit on e90 sedan. Plus I'm looking to get 19x10.5 +40mm in the rear with drop.

And i think you pay for a quality rep and ppl will be happy with them. I can't see real LMs that cost 4x more being WORTH 4x more.. unless the reps are so soft that you bend 1 every season, and I don't see that happening with other reps. Time will tell if these reps are quality.. but I think I will give them a try in the spring. Happy Modding |

I think the reason is not so much that the reps are of bad quality but that the real LMs are forged multipiece wheels. The reps we carry have been exceptional in terms of durability and strength.

Fully agree. The BBS LM is light and multi pieces high end wheel. But it's not 4x the value of those after market reps. I've been using both expensive real deal rims and reps on various vehicles that I own. Let me tell you, when you scratch a set of $4000 rims. That really ruins your whole day may be the whole week. I feel a lot comfortable and less stressed when driving around town with reps. 99% of people still turn heads and thumbs up on my ride. Only 1% people like myself would recognize the reps.
The only draw back of reps is, they are not custom made, so no perfect fitment can be achieved. But with high end manufacture, i.e., HRE, iForge. You can really specify the offset down to the precision of mm for you vehicle for a perfect fit. If I'm building a show car, I'd go with the real deal but not on my daily drive. |

Yep, you got it. That's the major difference between M1 and M3. Also the M3 front 19x8.5 has two steps lips vs reverse lip is just one smooth shining lip.
I'll posy some pics when I reveive my wheels. |

The difference is that the reverse lip is completely FLAT. The step lip has a step (for lack of a better word) in the lip to give it a different design. EX-M1= flat reverse lip and available in 3 colors (black, silver, gold), EX-m3= step lip and available only in silver. Hope that clears it up!
