Hood vent concern for intake cone?
Hi guys,
So I just got my Vorsteiner hood installed, and I noticed how exposed my intake cone is to the vent in the hood. Should I be concerned about water when it rains? If so, is there something I can do other than changing the intake to resolve it? Here's a pic:

Doesn't seem like a good idea. Most vented hoods have rain gutters and diverters to channel water. I would definitely use k&n outerwears if anything. I used them on my quad and seemed to work great for water repelling.

Most plugs on the car are weather resistant, but before you go driving in a bad rain storm I'd wait to hear from someone who has this hood or email the company.
