It is. But I was like get used to stage2+ two month ago when beta version available. Can't really tell the differences, all I can remember is that gear 2 and 3 pull even harder

Yea, thats what i'm running on my car. It's quick but I'd like to have more pwr. Gonna do meth inj next lol
I also noticed that there's a pulsing in the idle of the car, not sure if that's from the tune or what. I have the Active CP, FMIC, and Strut Brace with the BMS DP and Cobb Stage 2 + Aggressive. I did get a 4th cyl misfire code that only showed up once... but again not sure why i have a pulsing idle. I thought it may have been cuz the factory Charge Pipe (CP) so I swapped that with the Active CP but the problem remains

I like the Cobb Stage 2+ map, but I think JB4 paired with E85 will give any e-Tuned Cobb a solid run. Not to mention, it gets the job done at half the cost, but twice the labor
Proof 1 Proof 2 - 16.5 PSI JB4 with passenger vs 18+ PSI Cobb Proof 3 - Dyno Graphs http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13933 Bottom line, the best tune for the money is JB4, especially when paired with a BMS flash. In the next couple of weeks, I will be conducting my own test of Cobb Stage 2+ Aggressive with race fuel vs JB4 on race fuel at the local race track. |

^ Somewhat correct. 1st video is with original PTF e-tune. 2nd video is with revised PTF e-tune vs JB4 with one passenger, 2 PSI less boost and passenger's side window down. Also, let's not forget that no custom tuning needed to be done to the JB4 in order for it to perform right out of the box.

Exactly. I say definitely try the protune. Its the cost of 2 gas fill-ups in my area and half the cost of a JB. It is also the only way to see how all the cylinders are doing in your engine in terms of timing corrections. JB shows you only cylinder 1 and that does not jive with me. If its only power you are strictly after then strap on nitrous spray and pray.

General consensus has been that the Cobb is smoother but the JB4 makes more power. Now with the protunes I think the performance gap has narrowed considerably.

N55 cobb stage 2+
Very happy with the stage 2+ aggressive and sport. I noticed oil leaking from cp, so i am running 2+ sport mode until oil catch can arrives. Look forward to having it pro-tuned.

Why would the higher boost cause the oil leaking and slightly lower boost reduce it?
Do we really need one of those OCC on N55? Can anyone who has one comment if they would recommend it?

Yes, OCC is helpful on the N55 also. We don't need it as bad as the N54, but there still is quite a bit of oil going back in to the engine. I have one ready to be installed.
