Curious to hear your thoughts on this article / video re: E15
Thoughts? I've never really heard much about running e15 on a stock car. I know guys here are running much higher blends on our fuel lines / hoses, but I can't imagine 5% more than normal could cause much of a problem on a stock car? The comments on these are unbelievable and there seems to be a LOT of misinformation out there regarding ethanol fuels. Can some of you guys who know more about it for stock vehicle use comment?

I think the bigger picture here is to continue operating the same as everyone always has, if your car says to put a certain gas in it, put that gas in it. The media saying people will see this new gas and ignorantly decide to just fill up with it instead of what they have always used and known to be safe, is not only ridiculous, but terribly insulting as well.

15% ethanol sold at the pump, was blended with anti-corrosives, and shouldn't be a problem. In my opinion the use of custom ethanol gas blends (i.e simply going to the station, and filling your car up to hit some % ethanol content for your tune) will yield serious long term concequences for our engine.
