Assistance needed

Hey guys,

This is my first car so i'm in love and wish to have it looking the best it can all the time. Currently my paint feels rough but doesn't have swirls in the paint. I'm all for spending hours to get the paint smooth and the car looking shiny and well looked after but i'd like to stay away from power tools or anything that is too difficult (i'd like to clay bar my car though).

Any suggestions? Products? I've read the sticky but as someone that has only started washing a car in the last 5 months it all went way over my head?

Thanks

Was looking for a simple clay bar process. How to wash the car before, and how to polish or what is required to do after..

Remember to keep track of the paint's condition. Sometimes when you clay your car, you can potentially scratch it as well. Reason: you're removing hard embedded contaminants by rubbing it off. If you do see scratches afterwards, polishing would be your next step. =)

You should clay your vehicle whenever you feel the rough areas on the paint. I have a black 335i, it's 4yrs old, I have no issues with black paint. I professionally detail cars, so if you want more answers, don't hesitate to contact me. My car is on Forgiato.com .. go to the gallery and you'll see the only black 335i coupe with chrome 20 inch Concavo Wheels. 301 203-1027
