Where is the sound coming from? Does it happen at all speeds?

I hear a similar mattress spring sound when going over bumps and it took me awhile to figure out that it was actually coming from my seat. When I go over a bump my body weight moves on the seat ever so slightly which results in that type of sound.

I have the same problem too. Has been driving me nuts. Poor roads and our car's suspension not built well to withstand them?

Did this sound start recently? It had happen to me in a another car during the winter months. The cold weather has an effect on a suspension. When spring came around I never would hear the creeking sounds at all.

Point aside, I fixed the problem. It turned out to be a bolt from my charge pipe that was rubbing on to my power steering fluid reservoir. Go figure..
