CM wheels 19' M359 1M Competiton Style Wheels - questions

Have already spoken to the very helpful Chris at CM wheels on these but just a little unsure whether to go 18 or 19".

Has anyone got the 19s and can vouch for the ride. Dont want it to be too hard. Also, anyone got pics of them on their car for me?

Also, obviously the rubber will be more on 19s and I will go premium tyres so is the look of 19s over 18s worth the extra money in both wheels and tyres?

Cheers.

It is all about the tyre you choose!!!

Go 19s as they will look far better.

I had Michellin PS3 tyres on my 18s and they were more uncomfortable tham my 19s with vred ultra tyres!!!

I love the vreds... they are quiet, wear well, very grippy and awesome tread pattern

+1 for Vreds. Have them on my 19s.

But will try Michelin PSS or Conti 5Ps next just for the fun of it, and to see what the fuss is about.

18's won't do them justice. Got to be 19's....

I've got 19's and lowered on H&R race springs and ride is fine. You'll tram line a little more with the wider tyres but I think you'll probably be more pleased with the ride as you'll be off the run flats!

Look at camskill for tyre prices, I've got Falken's and they perform just aswell and don't cost the earth

Cheers Greg. Already off the run flats, hated them. Im not planning on lowering. Will the car look ok on 19s?

It will look fine, a lot of OEM wheels are 19" and look good not lowered on an SE. I had the 19" 230's on my SE when I got it and alot of people prefer they way it looked then compared to now.

Take a look at spring perches for the front though as it will make the difference!

Take a look at Avon ZZ3 tyres in 19", very good tyres and extremely reasonable!

Delivered from Camskill for £469.96....

You can't argue with that!!

Remember a 335 SE has M Sport suspension.

The Vreds have been great for me. Can't complain. Grip is way better than the runflats.

Can't really give you a fair opinion as i have only ran the bridgestone runflats and vreds on mine. But its fair to say that the Vreds are just below the performance of Michelin PSS and Continental 5P, based on what i have read. For the price, vreds are great value.

Cheers mate. Looking for a new front end option - see my other thread.

I am running ET 18 rear (with a spacer), and spacer at the front too. Drop is around 40mm all round.

Op-I honestly think that if you bought the 18's,you'd quickly want the 19's-but that's just my thoughts!
I'm running a set of 19" Dare NK1's at the mo,but if the deal can be done,I'm changing to a set of Hyper black 359's.My suspension is lowered on Koni FSD's and Eibach pros (without runflats) and it's a really nice ride.
Get 'em bought!
